EVOLUTIO exists to reverse this collapse. It is an independent research center conceived as a sanctuary for long-range, foundational thought — a space where ideas can unfold according to their own depth, rhythm, and integrity. Here, the study of life and its evolution is restored to its rightful place: not as a subfield of mechanistic biology, but as the core of a new paradigm that unites the sciences and the humanities.

Our work extends beyond evolutionary and developmental biology. We investigate the principles that govern the unfolding of life at every scale — from the organism to the ecosystem, from the cell to the polis. This includes the search for more just, egalitarian, and environmentally harmonious forms of collective organization, as developed in Eutopian Life and Power to the People. Our ultimate aim is nothing less than a redefinition of science itself: a life-centered science in the service of a life-centered society.

We are building the institutional architecture to carry this vision forward: a journal, a press, a canonical archive, and an ethical observatory that safeguards conceptual lineage. These are not mere publications. They are the scaffolding of a new intellectual tradition.
